Natural Gas will be delivered to your property with three
possible different supply pressures. The varying pressures being 7"W.C., Two
pound and Five Pound pressure. Higher pressures are available for commercial and
industrial applications. For our applications, the most common will be 7"W.C.or
Two Pound, although Five Pound pressure can be supplied to a residence but not
piped throughout the residence. From where the gas supplier installs the Gas
Meter is where we, the "Gas Contractor" take over to complete the installation
on your property. The house line consists of a line throughout your property to
all the different appliances you have. This line is "pre pressure tested" before
gas is introduced into it and delivered to all your appliance locations.
